Northrop Grumman is seeking a senior capture leader to drive strategic capture efforts for the Launch and Exploration Division within Space Systems. You will report to the Director, Capture Excellence, and work across functions to shape and execute winning strategies that increase capture win rate.

Role requires 10+ years in government/defense, fluency with FAR, and ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams; travel up to 50% and Top Secret/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, a technical field, or another relevant discipline.
• Experience in government or defense industry (10+ years).
• Experience leading cross-disciplinary business development, proposal, or capture teams.
• Experience managing full-cycle capture activities including strategy, resource planning, and customer engagement.
• Experience using Salesforce and following the BAP (Business Acquisition Process).
• Excellent verbal communication skills with experience briefing executives and influencing decision makers.
• Understanding of FAR and government contract types (IDIQ, FFP, Cost Plus).
• Ability to lead local and geographically dispersed teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Active Top Secret/ eligible for SCI clearance at application; able to obtain SCI upon hiring.

Responsabilités

• Lead cross-functional capture teams to plan and execute end-to-end capture activities for major opportunities.
• Develop and execute capture strategies and tactics that result in competitive assessments, effective teaming strategies, and robust prices-to-win analyses.
• Formulate clear Win Themes and Value Propositions for each capture initiative and develop capture strategies, win themes, value propositions, competitive assessments, teaming approaches and price-to-win.
• Analyze customer needs, market drivers, and stakeholder organizations to inform capture strategy.
• Cultivate and maintain strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders, including team partners, industry associations, and customer decision-makers.
• Coordinate closely with line-of-business leadership, finance, contracts, global supply chain, technology, and engineering.
• Use Salesforce and BAP/sector processes to manage captures and drive win rate.
• Implement sector-specific processes that enhance capture win rate and secure large-scale opportunities.
