Job summary

Hylant is seeking an Account Executive to lead a captive account management team, overseeing client relationships and driving strategic, financial, and operational objectives. You will mentor a team of account managers and serve as a trusted advisor to captive clients.

You will guide governance, reporting, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with auditors, actuaries, and counsel to support client objectives and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Seven or more years of captive insurance, auditing, risk management, or captive management experience.
• CPA, CPCU, ACIA, ARM, ACI, or other relevant professional designations preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
• Strong understanding of captive insurance operations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, engage, and manage a team of account managers across talent functions including recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Act as executive relationship manager and trusted advisor for captive clients on operations, governance, and financial performance.
• Lead client, board, and stakeholder meetings presenting financial and operational results.
• Oversee complex client engagements, resolve escalated issues, and identify opportunities to enhance client value.
• Drive operational excellence through process improvements, quality standards, and deadlines.
• Provide executive oversight of financial reporting, regulatory filings, risk management, and domicile compliance.
