Job summary

Hylant is seeking an Account Executive to lead a captive account management team in delivering exceptional client service and strategic guidance. You will oversee talent development, performance metrics, and governance for key clients, while aligning operations with regulatory standards.

In this senior role, you will manage board-facing discussions, drive growth through client retention, and collaborate with auditors, regulators, and legal counsel to optimize outcomes for captive insurance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting/finance or related field.
• Seven+ years in captive insurance, auditing, risk management, or captive management.
• Professional designations preferred (CPA, CPCU, ACIA, ARM, ACI).
• Proven leadership and people-management experience.
• Strong Excel-based financial reporting, governance, and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of account managers across recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance.
• Serve as executive relationship manager and trusted advisor for captive clients.
• Lead client, board, and stakeholder meetings with financial and operational results.
• Oversee complex client engagements and resolve escalated issues.
• Drive operational excellence through processes, standards, and deadlines.
• Provide executive oversight of financial reporting, regulatory filings, and risk management.
• Collaborate with auditors, actuaries, regulators, and other service providers.
• Support business growth through client retention, expansion, proposals, and thought leadership.
• Perform other duties and special projects as requested.
