Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Capital Project Manager to lead a portfolio of capital projects across Advanced Polymer Solutions manufacturing sites. You will drive safety, reliability, capacity, and automation improvements from concept through startup and closeout.

The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing or capital project execution, experience in material handling and automation, and a PMP is preferred. Travel about 25% to sites and supplier locations is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or capital project execution.
• Experience managing multiple capital projects simultaneously in an active manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing material handling, warehousing, packaging, logistics, or other manufacturing automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of capital projects across APS manufacturing sites from concept through startup and closeout.
• Develop and manage project scopes, estimates, schedules, budgets, risks, and execution plans.
• Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with site teams to develop and implement automation solutions that support operational needs.
• Coordinate operations, IT/OT, engineering partners, suppliers, contractors, and system integrators through design, commissioning, startup, and transition.
• Lead project reviews, startup readiness activities, and stakeholder communications throughout execution.
