Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Capital Project Manager to lead a portfolio of projects across APS sites, focusing on safety, reliability and automation improvements. You will coordinate internal teams and external partners through concept, funding, execution, startup and closeout, with travel to APS sites in the US or Mexico.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 7+ years in manufacturing or capital projects, and experience with material handling and warehouse automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or capital project execution.
• Experience managing multiple capital projects simultaneously in an active manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing material handling, warehousing, packaging, logistics, or other manufacturing automation projects.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of capital projects across APS manufacturing sites from concept through startup, coordinating internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Develop and manage project scopes, estimates, schedules, budgets, risks and execution plans.
• Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
• Coordinate operations, IT/OT, engineering partners, suppliers, contractors and system integrators through design, commissioning, startup and transition to site ownership.
• Lead project reviews, startup readiness activities, and stakeholder communications throughout project execution.
