Job summary

LyondellBasell seeks a Capital Project Manager to lead a portfolio of APS manufacturing-site initiatives, focusing on safety, reliability and efficiency. You will drive projects from concept through startup and closeout, coordinating internal teams and external partners to deliver cost-effective solutions.

You will manage scopes, estimates, schedules, and budgets, ensuring on-time delivery while meeting business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or capital project execution.
• Experience managing multiple capital projects simultaneously in an active manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing material handling, warehousing, packaging, logistics, or other manufacturing automation projects.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of capital projects across APS manufacturing sites from concept to startup and closeout.
• Develop and manage project scopes, estimates, schedules, budgets, risks, and execution plans.
• Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with site teams to develop and implement automation solutions that support operational and business needs.
• Coordinate IT/OT, engineering partners, suppliers, contractors, and system integrators through design, commissioning, startup, and transition to site ownership.
• Lead project reviews, startup readiness activities, and stakeholder communications throughout project execution.
