Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Capital Project Manager to lead a portfolio of capital projects across APS manufacturing sites. You will drive projects from concept through startup, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to deliver cost-effective solutions.

Required is a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 7+ years in manufacturing or capital project execution, with experience in material handling and automation. Travel ~25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or capital project execution.
• Experience managing material handling, warehousing, packaging, logistics, or other manufacturing automation projects.
• Willingness to travel ~25% to APS sites and supplier locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of capital projects across APS manufacturing sites from concept through startup and closeout.
• Develop and manage project scopes, estimates, schedules, budgets, risks, and execution plans.
• Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with site teams to develop and implement automation solutions that support operational needs.
• Coordinate operations, IT/OT, engineering partners, suppliers, contractors, and system integrators through design, commissioning, startup, and transition to site ownership.
