Job summary
LyondellBasell is seeking a Capital Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of capital projects across our Advanced Polymer Solutions sites. You will drive safety, reliability, capacity, and automation initiatives, coordinating internal teams and external partners from concept through startup.
The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing or engineering, PMP preferred, and experience with material handling and warehousing automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 7 years in manufacturing, engineering, or capital project execution.
- Experience managing multiple capital projects in active manufacturing environments.
- Experience with material handling, warehousing, or automation projects.
- PMP certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of capital projects from concept through startup and closeout.
- Develop scopes, estimates, schedules, budgets, risks and execution plans.
- Deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with site teams to implement automation solutions.
- Coordinate with IT/OT, engineering partners, suppliers, contractors and integrators.
- Lead reviews, startup readiness, and stakeholder communications.
