Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a seasoned Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline BIM efforts on transit and multimodal projects in the United States. You will coordinate models across architecture, vertical/transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP to deliver a federated, clash-checked result.

You will enforce CADD/BIM standards, guide junior staff, and ensure model integrity through the project lifecycle, including coordination with clients and agencies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational training in CADD drafting and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience in design, modeling, or BIM environments.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination to integrate models across architecture, structures, transportation, and MEP.
• Model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks; resolve conflicts early.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards, templates, and workflows per Autodesk/Bentley guidance.
