Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline BIM efforts on transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP to deliver a federated, clash-checked model throughout the project lifecycle.

You will run Navisworks clash checks, enforce CAD/BIM standards, mentor staff across offices, and collaborate with clients and agencies to define deliverable requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in CADD drafting and intelligent modeling.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a single federated model.
• Runs clash detection in Navisworks and leads resolution across disciplines.
• Establishes and enforces CAD/BIM standards and workflows across offices.
• Mentors production staff and interfaces with clients and agencies on model deliverable requirements.
