Job summary

INNERGY is seeking a Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between CAD/CAM product and custom manufacturers across North America. You will partner with Sales to drive pre-sales cycles and demonstrate how CAD/CAM drives design through CNC output.

You will translate complex capabilities into clear outcomes for millwork shops and collaborate with Product and Engineering to align capabilities with customer needs. This is a remote role supporting US-based manufacturers.

Qualifications

Background in architectural millwork, casework or cabinetry strongly preferred.
~3+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering or technical consulting in manufacturing software/CAD/CAM.
Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software (Toolbox, libraries, post-processors) and/or other CAD/CAM-based systems.
Ability to articulate CNC/post-processor implications to shop owners.
Willingness to travel up to 25% for trade shows, customer visits, and team events.

Responsibilities

Own the technical pre-sales cycle for CAD/CAM from discovery through close.
Lead tailored product demonstrations showing CAD-based design, engineering, and manufacturing workflows.
Translate customer requirements into scalable CAD/CAM solutions.
Guide prospects on engineer-to-order and custom manufacturing environments.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to align customer needs with product capabilities.
Capture and relay customer feedback to Product, Engineering, and Sales leadership.
Represent INNERGY at industry trade shows, conferences, and events.
