NinjaOne is hiring a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join the Network Management Service team. You will build cross‑platform components for device discovery, network insight, and scalable data processing in a fast-paced cloud-native environment.

You will work with Windows and Linux, C++, Qt, and modern tooling, delivering high-performance, reliability, and testable code while collaborating with backend, UI, QA, and product teams across hybrid US locations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years of C++ development experience with C++14+.
• Proficiency with Qt and CMake.
• Experience targeting Windows and Linux/POSIX environments.
• Strong multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming skills.
• Familiarity with network protocols and SNMP is valuable.

Aufgaben

• Cross-platform development for Windows and Linux using C++/Qt.
• Design and implement device discovery and network health monitoring features.
• Work with SNMP, SSH, ICMP, WMI, and other network protocols.
• Develop high-performance, concurrent software near the network edge.
• Design asynchronous workflows and optimize resource use for reliability.
• Create unit/integration/system tests and ensure testability.
• Collaborate with backend, UI, QA, and product teams across OSes.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across software, OS, and network layers.
• Perform other duties as needed.
