Job summary

NinjaOne is hiring a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join the Network Management Service team, focusing on device discovery, network insight, and scalable cross-platform delegate components for distributed environments. The role involves Windows and Linux, Qt-based code, and close collaboration with backend, UI, QA, and product teams.

You’ll work on asynchronous workflows, performance-sensitive code, and network protocols such as SNMP, SSH, ICMP, and WMI, shaping reliable solutions for customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years of C++ development experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern C++14+ and production-quality systems.
• Experience with Qt and CMake.
• Experience developing for Windows and Linux cross-platform environments.
• Familiarity with network protocols such as SNMP, SSH, ICMP, WMI.

Responsibilities

• Cross-Platform Development for Windows and Linux using C++ and Qt.
• Design and implement network discovery and monitoring features.
• Work with SNMP, SSH, ICMP, WMI protocols.
• Develop high-performance, concurrent software near the network.
• Create unit, integration, and system-level tests.
• Collaborate with backend, UI, QA, and product teams.
• Troubleshoot issues across app, OS, and network layers.
• Support scalable, reliable NMS platform.
