Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company in Seattle seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst in Coffeehouse Development to sustain and evolve the systems and processes that enable partners to grow and manage our store portfolio. You will collaborate with Starbucks Technology to support and evolve our development systems and tools.

You will lead operational sustainment, deliver complex systems support, and map business requirements with product managers to translate partner needs into actionable solutions.

• Systems design, testing and implementation – 5 years

Responsibilities

• Lead business sustainment activities – plan and execute recurring operational work such as data validation and reconciliation, user access and role administration, audit support, scheduled system updates, and other controls required to keep supported products operating effectively.
• Deliver complex systems support - serving as the point of contact for business-critical systems, rapidly assessing issues, coordinating resolution across business and technology teams, communicating status, risk and next steps with clarity.
• Improve the support experience at scale – analyze tickets, direct partner inquiries and operational trends to identify root causes, reduce repeat issues, strengthen documentation and self-service resources, and recommend process, data or product improvements.
• Partner across product and technology teams – work with product managers, development leaders, Starbucks Technology and external service providers to prioritize defects and enhancements, manage escalations, coordinate testing and releases, and prepare partners for change.
• Turn partner needs into actionable solutions – Engage partners across Coffeehouse Development to understand pain points, map processes, define business requirements and acceptance criteria, and ensure solutions address the underlying business need.
