Job summary
Starbucks is hiring a Senior Application Developer in Seattle to deliver and support technology solutions that enable strategic initiatives and operational improvements. You will collaborate across IT and business teams to shape solution design, build secure, scalable software, and improve platform health through strong engineering practices.
Responsibilities include leading end-to-end delivery across Agile/Waterfall, building production-ready solutions, and strengthening platform reliability
Qualifications
- 4–10 years of software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Ability to lead end-to-end delivery across Agile/Waterfall methods.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery – drive requirements/backlog refinement, technical design and development, and deployment planning across Agile and/or waterfall delivery.
- Build high-quality, production-ready solutions – use established design patterns, automate tests, and support CI practices.
- Strengthen platform reliability – participate in on-call, troubleshoot incidents, lead root-cause analysis, and improve patterns and shared libraries.
