Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Houston, TX seeks a Business Solutions Area Manager to lead a team of Bankers, manage a portfolio of commercial and Not-for-Profit clients, and deliver world‑class financial solutions with a focus on client experience.

You will recruit, coach, and develop talent, drive deposits, cash management, and credit solutions up to $500K, and collaborate across lines of business to grow the client base while maintaining strong risk controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in a business banking relationship management role or related experience.
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage client relationships.
• Expert knowledge of deposit and cash management products; strong credit underwriting.
• Strong communication and meeting coordination skills; able to work across lines of business.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to a team of Bankers to develop deposits, cash management, and credit business.
• Identify and promote solutions while managing risk and profitability of the portfolio.
• Coach and manage performance, using metrics to monitor trends and address issues.
• Recruit, develop, and retain talent; participate in Diversity and inclusion initiatives.
• Guide team in portfolio management, relationship development, and client issue resolution.
