Qualifications

• 3+ years in BI engineering and enterprise report modernization.
• Proficient in converting legacy WebFOCUS and Mainframe FOCUS procedures into optimized T-SQL queries.
• Experience building Microsoft Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, semantic models, and automated dataflows.
• Experience querying and integrating relational database systems including IBM DB2 and Oracle Data Warehouse.
• Experience with advanced data structures including star schemas, snowflake schemas, and OLAP cubes.
• Experience modeling enterprise financial datasets covering general ledger, purchasing, and revenue records.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with database administrators, train accounting personnel, and conduct stakeholder workshops.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and convert legacy Mainframe FOCUS and WebFOCUS reporting assets into modernized T-SQL database queries.
• Design, develop, and publish high-performance Microsoft Power BI dashboards, dataflows, and paginated reports.
• Collaborate with database administrators to construct optimized views and stored procedures for business intelligence consumption.
• Evaluate enterprise data environments to define future-state reporting roadmaps and enhance underlying financial data models.
• Automate complex data transformation pipelines to eliminate manual spreadsheet manipulation and reliance on pivot tables.
• Administer dedicated Power BI workspaces, managing report distribution, data refreshes, and governance standards.
• Provide technical training and guidance to financial staff on adopting interactive business intelligence dashboards.
