Job summary

Resourcesoft, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Senior Business/Data Analyst to gather, analyze, and document business requirements in large IT environments.

You will leverage SQL for data analysis, map data flows, develop BRDs and KPIs, and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to ensure accurate requirements and successful data-driven projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a Business/Data Analyst in enterprise or government IT environments.
• Proficiency in complex SQL for data analysis, validation, and ad hoc investigation directly against relational databases.
• Experience analyzing current-state and future-state business processes, including process flows and data flow diagrams.
• Experience with data profiling, source-to-target mapping, and documentation of data elements, definitions, and business rules.
• Experience translating business requirements into BRDs, functional/data requirements documents, and defining KPIs for reporting/analytics teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong stakeholder facilitation across workshops, interviews, and requirements sessions.

• Conduct gap analysis and support User Acceptance Testing through development of test scenarios and test cases.
