Job summary

Resourcesoft, Inc. seeks an experienced IT Business Analyst to join vendor-led projects in Denver. You will translate business needs into BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria while coordinating UAT and ensuring clear scope.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to facilitate workshops and liaise between business, vendors, and IT teams to drive project success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as IT Business/Systems Analyst on vendor-delivered projects.
• Translate business needs into BRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate UAT planning, test scripts, feedback loops and defect tracking to closure.
• Liaise between business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to confirm scope.
• Develop communication/training plans, including job aids and train-the-trainer materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong stakeholder facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discovery sessions and workshops as the primary BA on vendor-led projects.
• Convert business needs into clear, testable requirements including BRDs and user stories.
• Partner with vendor PMs and solution architects to confirm scope, assumptions, changes.
• Develop communication/training plans including release messaging and job aids.
• Coordinate UAT scripts, feedback loops and defect tracking through resolution.
• Support production issue triage with bug reports including steps and logs.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience as an IT Business/Systems Analyst supporting vendor-delivered technology projects.
• Proficiency in translating business needs into BRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience coordinating UAT planning, test scripts, feedback loops, and defect tracking to closure.
• Experience serving as liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to confirm scope and dependencies.
• Experience developing communication and training plans, including job aids and train-the-trainer materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong stakeholder facilitation across vendor and internal teams.
