Job summary

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software development with 5+ years in management.
• Proficiency in enterprise architecture, technical strategy, and data modeling.
• Experience with Java/J2EE, JavaScript, SQL, and .Net in large systems.
• Proven leadership of offshore and onshore technology teams.
• Familiar with Agile/Waterfall, code reviews, and test-driven development.
• Excellent communication, translating workflows into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal and external technology teams, including large offshore resources.
• Set architectural standards and drive technical strategy, roadmaps and design decisions.
• Engage with customers to translate workflows into clear problem statements.
• Write and review advanced code, technical specs, and complex data models.
• Manage performance, hiring, coaching, and development of engineering staff.
• Serve as primary technical contact for customers and adapt communications accordingly.

Requirements

• 12 or more years of software development experience, including 5 or more years in software development management.


• Proficiency in enterprise architecture principles, technical strategy, and complex data modeling.


• Experience in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, SQL, and .Net across large, complex system environments.


• Experience leading offshore and onshore technology teams using Managed Services and Staff Augmentation models.


• Experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies, code reviews, and test-driven development practices.


• Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to engage directly with customers and translate observed workflows into technical requirements.
