Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field.
• Min seven years of business development experience in construction and/or engineering.
• Proven ability to track and manage a wide range of leads with follow-through and closure.
• Strong knowledge of the construction market.
• Valid driver's license.
• Teamwork, initiative, communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented; able to organize and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic understanding of construction law and business practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project and web applications.

Responsibilities

• Partner with market leaders to implement positioning strategies.
• Network with Mortenson's targeted customers, design professionals and partners.
• Research project opportunities through networking, relationships and events.
• Identify and generate leads for new business.
• Perform market trends analysis and coordinate introductory meetings with prospects.
