Mortenson Construction is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to partner with project teams, develop opportunities, and build strategic relationships with customers and partners. You will identify leads, research market trends, and drive proposals with initiative and professionalism.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least seven years in business development within construction or engineering, plus the ability to travel up to 30% and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, eng, marketing, business or related field.
• Minimum seven years business development in construction/engineering.
• Proven track record in leads tracking, follow-through and closure.
• Strong knowledge of the construction market.
• Current driver's license and willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Proficient with MS Office, Project and web apps; strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with market leaders to implement positioning strategies.
• Network with targeted customers, design professionals, and partners.
• Research project opportunities via networking, cold calls and events.
• Champion lead identification and generation.
• Analyze market trends and coordinate introductory meetings with prospects.
