Mortenson is seeking an experienced Project Executive I to provide overall management for large projects, lead the project team, and maintain key customer relations. You will interact with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in construction management overseeing large projects.
• Ability to travel up to 50-75%.
• Detail oriented with ability to organize multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of construction law and standard business practices.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, project planning tools, and web apps.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain successful customer and community relationships
• Conduct key customer service visits from pre-construction to close-out
• Preview proposals and participate in Request for Proposal process
• Act as primary customer contact for assigned projects
• Support business development initiatives and maintain customer relationships
• Provide oversight and accountability for large projects
• Manage contract administration, including terms, change requests, and invoices
• Maintain project budgets, costs, and pricing for profitable delivery
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management for project team
