Job summary

Sedgwick is recruiting a Business Development Director to expand top-line growth by building and maintaining partnerships with prospective and existing clients across a defined region. You will identify opportunities, tailor solutions, and drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets.

The role requires a strong background in risk management or claims, with proven leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Expect travel and a strategic, results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; major in Business Administration, Finance or Risk Management preferred.
• Ten years related experience, five years in relationship building in claims/risk management.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, develops and maintains internal and external relationships/partnerships.
• Builds relationships with prospects and clients across an area.
• Facilitates development of new partnerships and oversees implementation of client programs.
• Develops knowledge of prospect operations to tailor marketing of company programs.
• Coordinates resources for prospect solicitation and service delivery.
• Works on responses and pricing for RFPs, proposals and presentations.
• Develops and executes an annual sales and service plan to meet goals.
• Meets sales goals of $2-3 million.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supports quality programs and travels as required.
