Job summary
Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is hiring for a Senior Requirements Analyst in a fully remote role supporting the Veterans Affairs department. The candidate will bring an experienced background in SAFe and software development to elicit, document, and manage requirements within an ALM environment.
Responsibilities include leading user interviews, documenting requirements and acceptance criteria, guiding agile product teams, and coordinating with systems engineers to assess impact while maintaining
Qualifications
- Strong background in software development and SAFe/Scaled Agile practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for technical audiences.
- Attention to detail, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience conducting independent research to resolve complex questions.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
- Analytical skills with ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
- Expertise with JIRA.
- Experience in large, Agile software development or data integration projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead capture of stakeholder requirements for software development teams.
- Collaborate with users, IT, and leaders to document requirements in ALM tools.
- Manage requirements in ALM tool and ensure traceability.
- Conduct agile requirement management for the product team.
- Analyze user needs to determine functional and technical requirements.
- Facilitate interviews and sessions to develop business process models.
- Document requirements, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
- Coordinate with systems engineers on solution impact.
- Lead backlog refinement and change control processes.
