Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC (SSG) is seeking an experienced Requirements Analyst for a 100% remote, full-time role with the Veterans Affairs. U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust (MBI) clearance are required. Salary range: $78,167–$103,855.

A Master’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline is required. Ten years of professional experience is expected. You will lead software requirements capture, collaborate with users and IT, manage requirements in JIRA, perform SAFe Agile

Qualifications

Strong background in software development and SAFe/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Excellent oral and written communication skills for technical topics to diverse audiences.
Excellent attention to detail, customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Experience with JIRA tools and large Agile software development or data integration projects.

Responsibilities

Lead capture of software requirements for development teams.
Collaborate with users, IT, and leadership to document requirements in an ALM tool.
Manage requirements and backlog in JIRA within a SAFe framework.
Conduct user interviews and develop business process models and specifications.
Coordinate with Systems Engineers to assess impact on technical solutions.
Write and deliver project documents; manage risks and change control.
