Job summary

Koch is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders, product leadership, and engineering across registry, identity verification, and messaging platforms. You will translate complex requirements into actionable solutions driving product development and operational excellence.

Lead requirements, acceptance criteria, and traceability while partnering with product, success, and external stakeholders to ensure value delivery and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing requirements through functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience facilitating backlog refinement, stakeholder workshops, and cross-functional solution discussions.
• Experience supporting system integrations and API-driven solutions with data flows and rules.
• Experience using process analysis and mapping with Confluence, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar tools.
• Experience partnering with software engineering teams and external vendors through delivery.
• Experience analyzing data with SQL to inform business decisions.
• Experience in a B2B or SaaS environment supporting contracts and SLAs.
• Experience building or supporting registries, identity verification systems, or messaging platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own business requirements, functional specs, process docs, and user stories across registries, identity, and messaging platforms.
• Translate customer, contractual, and regulatory requirements into clear, testable solutions for Engineering and QA.
• Maintain traceability between business requirements, development work, and acceptance criteria.
• Own requirements through delivery, ensuring proper definition, risk handling, and objective alignment.
• Analyze and document current and future-state business processes, workflows, rules, and system interactions.
• Identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies that create value.
• Evaluate cross-product impacts and promote consistency across shared workflows and data models.
• Partner with Product Management on discovery, roadmap planning, prioritization, and solution definition.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Operations, customers, and external stakeholders to capture needs and validate solutions.
• Facilitate alignment through clear communication, documentation, modeling, and solution validation.
• Define reporting and analytics requirements supporting KPIs, SLAs, and customer reporting.
• Analyze platform data and translate insights into actionable recommendations for product and operations.
