Job summary

EY’s Financial Services – Tech Consulting team seeks a Manager-level Business Analyst with Guidewire expertise to guide insurance technology initiatives for clients. You will lead engagements, shape solutions, and mentor analysts across the project lifecycle.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive transformation in claims, underwriting, policy and billing, while enjoying a hybrid work model and travel as needed across US engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years defining business and technical requirements.
• 3+ years experience at a financial services company or advising P&C insurers.
• 2+ years leading a team of business and technology analysts.
• Experience with Guidewire and other insurance tech platforms.
• Proficiency in system/vendor selection, architecture design, BI/decision support, and PMO.
• Experience with Agile SCRUM and BA methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and drive change.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into technology solutions in client engagements.
• Support remediation and risk mitigation efforts.
• Assist engagement teams with requirements analysis and alignment to architecture and implementation plans.
• Provide insights from data sources to validate solution effectiveness.
• Mentor junior resources and foster an innovative, inclusive team environment.
