Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a hybrid Dallas-based contract-to-hire role within a transforming financial services environment. You will gather requirements, lead stakeholder discussions, and drive process improvements across business and technology teams.

You will develop BRDs and FRDs, write user stories, and validate data using SQL, contributing to the full SDLC and UAT processes. Expect exposure to executive leadership and enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of Business Analysis experience.
• Experience leading requirements sessions and stakeholder facilitation.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and SDLC environments.
• Hands-on Jira and Confluence usage.
• SQL for data analysis and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders across business and tech.
• Analyze processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop BRDs, FRDs, and related project docs.
• Create user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, flows, and data diagrams.
• Facilitate workshops to define project objectives and requirements.
• Translate requirements into functional specs for dev/testing teams.
• Perform data analysis with SQL to support initiatives.
• Support design, development, testing, implementation, and post-production activities.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on scope and timelines.
• Drive requirements through SDLC and UAT support.
• Review changes for business impact and alignment with objectives.
• Develop current/future process maps and workflows.
