Job summary
Capgemini is seeking an experienced Business Analyst in Whippany, NJ, to support strategic finance transformation initiatives. The role requires deep knowledge of accounting processes, financial controls, and reporting, with collaboration across Finance, Technology, Operations and Risk stakeholders.
The position entails leading requirements workshops, preparing BRDs/FRDs and process maps, and performing current-state/future-state analyses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of Business Analysis experience within Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets, or Corporate Finance environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting UAT, SIT, defect management, and production go-live activities.
Responsibilities
- Finance & Accounting: Analyze accounting processes including GL, sub-ledgers, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Business Analysis: Lead requirements workshops, prepare BRDs/FRDs and process maps, maintain traceability.
- Transformation & Delivery: Support finance transformation programs, ledger migrations, and system implementations; assist with cutover planning and go-live activities.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Finance, Technology, Operations, and Risk; communicate with senior leadership and project sponsors; drive cross-functional decisions.
