Sum Theory, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst for a hybrid role based in Dallas, TX. You will align business objectives with technology solutions, guiding SCRUM teams and product owners through requirements and backlog management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects.
• Proven experience in an Agile environment using SCRUM.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, user story creation, and backlog management.
• Experience delivering business analysis across SDLC with Agile/Waterfall.
• Familiarity with Agile and SCRUM facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces and collaborates with IT staff in designing new programs, processes, projects and software; assists with testing and training.
• Lead business requirements analysis, validation, and verification for complex projects.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
• Work with Product Owners and SCRUM teams to prioritize backlog items and ensure timely delivery.
• Produce project documentation including BRDs, use cases, and UAT plans.
• Conduct change impact analysis and document business rules, functions, and requirements.
