Job summary

CoverGo, a global no-code insurance platform, is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our fully remote team. You will collaborate with clients and tech resources to translate business needs into actionable requirements and practical solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a Business Analyst, experience in insurance, strong English communication, and Spanish fluency. Agile/Scrum experience and strong documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as Business Analyst.
Degree in Business, IT or any relevant field.
Insurance industry experience is required.
Health Insurance domain cert from INS/LOMA or III is a plus.
Knowledge of defining requirements and translating to solutions; Agile prioritization.

Responsibilities

Work with clients and technical resources to identify business problems and define solutions.
Plan and design simple to semi-complex business processes and system changes.
Make recommendations to improve business activities.
Gather requirements via sessions/interviews and document complex needs.
Create test case scenarios and oversee testing to verify requirements are met.
Develop BRDs/User stories to support modifications.
Possibly plan, allocate and monitor work of other BAs.
Understand systems and data to surface actionable insights and decisions.
Assist in time estimates for project tasks.
Help update process and procedural documentation.
Develop understanding of mobile/web tech development cycles.
Support QA, UAT and Release phases via defect analysis.
