Job summary

CoverGo is seeking a senior Business Analyst to join our fully remote team. You will work with clients and technical resources to identify business problems, design analytical solutions, and plan scalable changes to processes and systems across health insurance domains.

You will gather requirements, write user stories, and support QA/UAT while collaborating with cross-functional teams. A strong background in Agile, excellent English communication, and experience in Insurtech are required.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years as a Business Analyst in or near health insurance/Insurtech
• Health insurance domain knowledge is required; Insurtech experience preferred
• Health Insurance-related certifications from INS/LOMA or III are a plus
• Strong grasp of defining requirements, translating to technical solutions, and Agile prioritization to epics and sprints
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; strong technical writing is a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and technical resources to identify business problems and design analytical solutions
• Plan and design simple to semi-complex business processes and system changes
• Make recommendations to improve business activities and outcomes
• Gather requirements via work sessions and interviews; document and communicate to stakeholders
• Create complex test cases; oversee testing to ensure client requirements are met
• Develop BRDs/user stories to support modifications and enhancements
• May plan and monitor work of other business analysts
• Surface actionable insights from data and surface sound judgments for decisions
