Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Senior Engineer to manage operations for four client sites across Manhattan. The role requires hands-on maintenance, preventive care, and the ability to travel between sites using provided OMNY access. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The engineer will supervise and coordinate repairs, ensure compliance with safety codes, and lead energy efficiency initiatives while serving as a point of contact for clients and site teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in building operations and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to interpret codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assign work orders and estimate time/materials for repairs.
• Perform maintenance across electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
• Oversee external contractors and ensure work meets standards.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Review inspections and verify compliance with design specs.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
