Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and life safety. You will contribute to energy management and preventive maintenance programs to optimize performance and safety.

The role supports facility operations and ensures compliance with codes and client requirements. The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent with several years of relevant experience, a valid CFC certification, and strong MS Office

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Meet physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, and control systems.
• Maintain energy management program; ensure systems operate efficiently.
• Assist with preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and perform emergency repairs.
• Follow safety and hazardous materials procedures; keep workplace clean.
• Review building systems to ensure operation within design specs and environmental targets.
