Job summary

CBRE seeks a Senior Building Engineer to maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, ensuring peak performance and energy efficiency across facilities. You will perform advanced maintenance, monitor operations, and apply specialized site knowledge with autonomy to drive improvements.

You will supervise contractor work, manage budgets and materials, and uphold safety and codes while delivering reliable facility services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and eight years experience in electrical systems, refrigeration and/or HVAC.
• Universal CFC certification required.
• Certifications in electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems or related fields may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all applicable codes, regulations and Company directives related to building operations and safety.
• Operate, maintain, monitor and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building equipment.
• Maintain building lighting systems and electrical components.
• Oversee and inspect work performed by outside contractors.
• Perform specialized tasks such as carpentry, electrical, painting, roofing, HVAC, and locksmith tasks.
