Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Senior Building Engineer to perform complex preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and related systems across client buildings. The role requires strong knowledge of building management and energy efficiency to optimize operations and costs.

The incumbent will coordinate with vendors, monitor code compliance, and participate in safety programs while maintaining professional spaces and responding to emergencies via the work order system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 8+ years' experience in electrical, refrigeration and HVAC.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Knowledge of building systems and preventive maintenance.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Complies with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operates and maintains building equipment including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Maintains professional appearance of property and spaces.
• Prepares estimates and manages materials and supplies.
• Oversees outside contractors and ensures work quality.
• Responds to emergencies and uses work order system.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
