Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking an experienced Building Science Project Engineer to perform Property & Facility Condition Assessments and prepare due diligence reports for commercial clients.

The role requires 5+ years in architecture/engineering, strong communication, and ability to travel to project sites. The position is full-time with on-site responsibilities and hybrid work based on weekly site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Architecture or related Engineering Field (Civil, Mechanical, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience in architecture, engineering and/or construction/cost estimating.
• 3+ years of experience performing property inspections.
• 2+ years of experience completing similar work for financial institutions.
• Must be able to work in an ambiguous, complex, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of buildings to evaluate condition of building systems and recommend immediate repairs.
• Conduct site reconnaissance, data compilation, and project research (historical, regulatory).
• Technical report authoring and preparation of maps and appendices.
• Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones; communicate progress to Project Manager and client.
• Provide solid recommendations and solutions to Project Manager and client; assess impact on transaction process.
• Coordinate and respond to changes in project scope.
