Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. seeks Building Science Project Engineers to complete Property & Facility Condition Assessments and due diligence reports for clients nationwide.

The role involves assessing buildings, documenting condition, and preparing technical reports with supporting documents. Candidate will have a degree in Architecture or Engineering and 5+ years in related fields, plus at least 3 years of property inspections and 2 years with financial institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Architecture or related Engineering field (Civil, Mechanical, etc.).
• 5+ years of experience in architecture, engineering and/or construction/cost estimating.
• 3+ years of experience performing property inspections.
• 2+ years of experience completing similar work for financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of buildings to evaluate the condition of the building systems, provide recommendations for immediate repairs, and use observations and industry standards to determine future building system replacements
• Conduct appropriate site reconnaissance, data compilation and organization, and project research (historical, regulatory, etc.)
• Technical report authoring and preparation of quality supporting documents (maps, appendices, etc.)
• Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones to ensure project progress status is on schedule and effectively communicate project progress and any issues as they arise to the Project Manager and client
• Provide solid recommendations and solutions to the Project Manager and client, while understanding the assessment’s potential impact on the transaction process
• Coordinate and respond to requests for changes in project scope
