Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 10+ years’ experience in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design for design‑build projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong data analysis, problem‑solving and multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of mechanical (plumbing, HVAC, odor control, fire protection) systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Prepare design drawings and specifications for client submissions and permitting support.
• Perform calculations for water, drainage, air loads, piping/duct sizing and energy analyses.
• Coordinate with architects, technicians and engineers across disciplines and with clients/vendors.
• Develop master plans and conduct field investigations and as‑built drawings.
• Provide design guidance and mentorship to junior staff and designers.
