Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the Engineering team and oversee maintenance, repairs, and operations for tenant satisfaction and building safety. You will manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, energy usage, and safety protocols.

The role requires supervisory experience, budgeting, and contract administration, with emphasis on compliance with OSHA and NFPA standards. 100% in-office with after-hours availability and coordination with tenants and vendors.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of industry-related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory, training, and mentoring experience including performance appraisals.
• CFC Certification preferred or willingness to obtain as required; licenses for engineering/trade per local/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of building maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Monitor energy usage and ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee contractor work and tenant improvement projects.
• Prepare budgets and control inventory/purchasing.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate Engineering staff; develop performance goals.
