Job summary

CBRE Spring House seeks a Sr. Engineer to monitor complex building system operations including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety systems. You will oversee maintenance, inspect systems, and ensure compliance with codes while driving energy management and efficiency.

The role involves coordinating with contractors, leading preventive maintenance programs, and mentoring staff, all within CBRE’s RISE values. Training and career growth are provided in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma; 5–8 years of job-related experience or equivalent combination.
• Universal CFC certification required.
• Additional certifications in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.
• In lieu of a diploma, experience can substitute with education.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign work orders and estimate time and materials; maintain inventory.
• Perform maintenance and repairs to advanced mechanical, plumbing, electrical and safety systems.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Develop an energy management program for efficient operation.
• Oversee outside contractors; respond to inquiries from clients and staff.
• Lead preventive maintenance to meet or exceed system life.
• Review inspections of building systems for design parameters and environmental conditions.
