Job summary

The role supports preventive maintenance and responsive repairs within a broad operations team. Key responsibilities include adhering to codes and safety regulations, optimizing energy use, and guiding junior staff while delivering reliable facility services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.
• Willingness to meet physical requirements (stooping, standing, walking, stairs/ladders, lifting 50 lbs+).
• Experience with safety and regulatory compliance in building operations.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and safety.
• Maintain an energy management program and optimize system efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs as needed.
• Ensure safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; maintain a clean workplace.
• Review building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for proper operation and environmental Conditions.
• Apply standard principles to complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across related disciplines.
