Job summary

CW is seeking an Operating Engineer to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned properties. You will perform rounds, preventive and corrective maintenance, and housekeeping tasks to uphold safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC equipment, energy management, and responding to emergencies while complying with applicable codes and company standards. Must have strong technical proficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Appropriate license/permit for trade (e.g., Journeyman/Master Electrician).
• Knowledge of energy management systems and building operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, pumps, and air distribution systems.
• Inspect engine room and back-up generator equipment and facilities.
• Respond to emergencies and report activities to supervisor.
