The role focuses on HVAC, hydronic and building automation systems, with an emphasis on safety, compliance, and reliable operations in a dynamic real estate portfolio.

Qualifications

• 10 years of hands-on experience in commercial facilities and building engineering with a concentration on HVAC mechanical and controls systems.
• Experience working with complex building systems in commercial office, life sciences, laboratory, or similar facilities.
• Strong troubleshooting across HVAC, BAS/controls, mechanical systems, chilled water, hydronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a hands-on lead for day-to-day facilities operations, troubleshooting issues and completing repairs.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and adjust HVAC, hydronic, chilled water, energy management, and building controls systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement repairs to reduce repeat calls.
• Review BAS alarms and trends; perform routine inspections and follow up on issues.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, CMMS updates, and safety/compliance procedures.
