Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Lead Sr Building Engineer for a mission-critical hospital campus in Grapevine, TX. You will lead the onsite maintenance team, perform hands-on repairs, and ensure safety, compliance, and operational excellence across HVAC, plumbing, and facility systems.

You will mentor staff, manage workflows in the CMMS, and leverage BAS to optimize environmental controls while maintaining life-safety standards for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of job-related experience in building operations or facilities management.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage team workflows in a high-pressure environment.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing stairs or ladders.
• Innovative mindset to develop methods beyond existing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily maintenance operations for the hospital campus, ensuring a safe and functional environment for patients and staff.
• Provide leadership and technical mentorship to the onsite maintenance team.
• Manage the CMMS workflow by assigning work orders, tracking progress, and ensuring SLAs.
• Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance daily, especially during high-volume periods.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing and general facility infrastructure components.
• Oversee the preventive maintenance program to keep systems serviced on schedule.
