Job summary

CBRE Workplace Solutions is seeking a Senior Building Engineer to oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems in a Richardson facility. You’ll lead repairs, monitor operations, manage safety compliance, and mentor junior staff to ensure reliable building performance.

You will coordinate with contractors, develop preventive maintenance plans, and drive energy efficiency initiatives across building systems, contributing to CBRE’s service excellence and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with 5–8 years of related experience.
• Certification in HVAC or electrical fields is preferred.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Assign work orders and estimate time/materials for repairs.
• Perform maintenance on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems.
• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs and energy management.
