Job summary

CBRE Building Engineer role at a large Texas facility involves maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and HVAC systems to keep operations safe, reliable, and energy efficient. You will support preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, and assist with inspections, while following safety codes and CBRE directives.

Strong problem solving, CMMS experience, and MS Office skills are valued assets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4–5 years of related experience.
• EPA/CFC certification preferred; licenses as required by local/state jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Align with codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Maintain an energy management program; ensure all systems operate efficiently.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Follow policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials; keep a clean workplace.
• Review inspections of building systems to ensure operation within design capabilities and environmental targets.
• Apply advanced knowledge, mentor others, and lead by example in CBRE RISE values.
