Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Building Engineer to maintain mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety and HVAC systems at a large facility in Dallas. You’ll support preventive maintenance, emergency repairs and inspections while ensuring safety and energy efficiency.

You’ll work on codes and safety guidelines, mentor teammates, and help implement reliable building operations aligned with CBRE RISE values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4–5 years of related experience.
• EPA/CFC certification preferred.
• Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and HVAC systems.
• Align operations with applicable codes and safety guidelines.
• Maintain an energy management program to optimize efficiency.
• Support preventive maintenance and respond to emergency repairs.
• Follow safety policies for storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Review building systems to ensure operation meets design specs and environmental requirements.
• Demonstrate CBRE RISE values, mentor others, and lead by example.
