Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Atlanta, GA seeks a Building Enclosure Principal to lead building enclosure consulting projects and serve as a senior technical expert on investigations, assessments, commissioning, testing, and design consulting. This client-facing role entails significant project management, technical execution, and mentorship of junior staff within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture (NCARB).
• 12+ years of related experience in building enclosure consulting, including testing, commissioning (BECx), design review, or forensic assessments.
• Licensed or certified in at least one of the following: P.E., RA, IIBEC certifications (RRC, RWC, REWC, RBEC, CBECxP), UW-Madison certifications (BECxP, CxA+BE)

Responsibilities

• Lead building enclosure consulting projects and serve as a senior technical expert.
• Provide technical guidance and support to staff on complex testing and consulting challenges.
• Oversee project budgets, staffing, and delivery to meet scope and schedule.
• Mentor junior staff and Associate Principals; support team growth and technical advancement.
• Serve as a key client contact and lead discussions on project findings and deliverables.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality consulting solutions.
